Life's Travels

A Pilgrim's Way

I have a tenuous grasp upon the world.
Reality moves like a flowing stream,
And if I cling too tightly to things
I might be hindered or swept aside.

I have a tenuous claim to the mountain side,
For the Dragon moves like a flowing stream.
I may fight him and be overcome,
Or ride his back from the  heavens to the sea.

I have a tenuous hold upon life,
For God moves like a flowing stream.
I can only do what I know for today
And be ready to travel tomorrow.
