  1. So strangely appropriate to receive this little blessing of song from you, Charlie.
Your life and love of art and literature and music will continue to inspire us all.
I will miss your poems and your voice and your kindness so very much.

  3. I am deeply saddened by the loss of a talented writer and poet, a remarkably well-read individual, a sensitive and kind man whom I had the good fortune to know for a length of time that was tragically short. His departure from this life leaves a void in the world that will be sorely missed. But, I can honestly say I am better for having known Charlie. He left the world a better place. Rest in peace, Charlie.

  4. Frank and I loved and admired Charlie and always learned something new about writing poetry when he joined our group. Charlie was kind, gentle, and good. We are very sad, but we are thankful for his friendship and for this blog so that we can continue to learn from him and feel his loving spirit. We send our deep condolences to Charlie's wife, Vicki, and their daughter.
