As an American who has lived in Canada for 10 years and now France (both countries with universal health care) I see it as the most compassionate way for a society to operate. <br />In Canada, it was a Baptist pastor, Tommy Douglas who campionned the cause of health care. It flowed out of his God-given love for the people.<br />(look him up in Wikipedia) <br /><br />BTW...As you know, I love that song.
